Additional information

Paid maternity and paternity leave is provided to all employees in Brazil and to employees in international units covered by the data in the sustainability reporting cycle. Specifically, maternity leave durations include 180 days paid by the company in Brazil, as per the Citizen Company Program; 120 days paid by the Maternity Insurance Fund in China; 112 days paid by the Health Insurance Fund in Austria; 84 days paid by the company in the United States; and 42 days paid by the company at the Suzano Packaging facility. Paternity leave encompasses 20 days paid by the company in Brazil, in accordance with the Citizen Company Program; 15 days paid by the Maternity Insurance Fund in China; 30 days paid by the Health Insurance Fund in Austria; 21 days paid by the company in the United States; and 42 days paid by the company at the Suzano Packaging facility.

Additionally, Suzano does not differentiate between the benefits provided by industrial, forestry, and/or office business units. Most of the aforementioned benefits are not extended to temporary employees, trainees, or apprentices, as they are employed under specific contractual arrangements.

The company's share program serves as a remuneration mechanism, subject to rules and eligibility criteria as outlined in the policy.
