Average and Total Number of Training Hours by Employee and Percentage of People Trained by Employee Category

PeopleSuzano's training takes place in person, online through Microsoft Teams or through the UniverSuzano platform. We have adapted and invested our efforts towards the development of our team in e-learning training, which allows them total flexibility to watch UniverSuzano's content regardless of their location. Concerning compulsory in-person training, we follow all safety protocols required by the company. In addition, we also offer leadership and operational training courses aimed at career planning and people development.
When calculating this indicator, the number of employees on the last day of 2022 was used as a basis. As such, at that time, we had 18,861 employees. Of this total, 17,653 employees received training. The breakdown by function is as follows: 11,940 operational, 3,525 administrative, 787 consultants, 472 managers, 451 supervisors, 376 coordinators, 66 specialists, 35 directors, and 1 chairperson.
